First and foremost, I am a child of our King! I came to follow Jesus at the age of 30 and have not looked back. I live in that grace and mercy every day. My view of physical education is based on God's word in Timothy 4:8, "For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come."
I received training in nutrition and physical fitness in the military and competed in numerous competitive sports from childhood including softball, basketball, soccer, and cross country. I have completed college-level health, human nutrition, and human anatomy/physiology classes. I have over 15 years teaching experience working with children from infant to middle school. Most of all, I have faith that God will provide all the love and knowledge I need!
