We live on a beautiful and amazing planet, and if you don’t believe that now I hope you will once our class is over! Through engaging books, hands-on demonstrations, and our own observations, we will learn about rocks, rivers, volcanoes, and what you might find if you dug a hole to the center of the earth. We will observe the atmosphere and water cycle, and record the clouds and weather. We will study the moon and the importance of the sun, as well as a smattering of ecology – the relationships between all living things and their environment. We will keep notebooks (which I will provide) to record what we’ve learned.

Supplies needed from parents will be minimal to none.

I am a creationist that believes we are called to steward our planet wisely, and lessons may reflect those views. However, I do not intend to get into any old earth/young earth discussions.
