This semester we will learn how to install zippers, applique, and machine quilt. We will make a fun variety of projects including a taco zipper pouch, penguin rice bag, quilted bible or book sleeve, pajama shorts, and a fabric basket. Machine in good working order, thread, and bobbins are required. Tutor will provide various tools and all supplies for the taco zipper Pouch.

Student Supply Requirements:

  • 1/2 yard of fleece for penguin main body (tutor will provide the white accent pieces)
  • 2 coordinating fat quarters for book sleeve
  • 2 coordinating fat quarters for fabric basket
  • Pajama pants fabric (cotton or flannel)
    • 1 yard for size 8
    • 1 1/4 yard for sizes 10-12
    • 1 1/3 yard for size 14
