Show-and-tell is a great way for kids to gain confidence in their communication skills! In this class, each student will have the opportunity to present in front of the class and answer questions from classmates about their presentations each week. We will present about our favorite things, families, hobbies, pets, crafts we’ve made, books or toys we love, lego creations, … the list goes on! There will be a topic suggestion each week, but students will be allowed to talk about something “off-topic” if they prefer.
Students will:
- Develop comfort speaking in front of a group
- Learn to project their voice and use eye contact
- Practice good listening skills as they listen to classmates’ presentations.
- Build confidence that will benefit them for the rest of their lives
- Have fun sharing about things they love
- Encourage one another and build each other up as we get to know more about one another
