Suzanne grew up on a farm in Bear Grass, a small town in Eastern North Carolina, and now resides in the sweet little town of Wendell, NC. Suzanne is married to Shayne, and they have two girls, Gracie Jo and Maggie Shay, who are part of Bethlehem Homeschool Group. She attended North Carolina State University after high school and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, and later pursued teacher licensure through Post Baccalaureate work at East Carolina University. While in college at State she was an avid member of Campus Christian Fellowship and rededicated her life to Christ after being baptized at 13. She has been serving God ever since through numerous ministry opportunities, with her favorite being that of youth leadership! She has been serving in youth for many years and deeply connects and loves teenagers! Kids too! Suzanne has been an athlete her entire life and loves both to watch and play sports! She enjoys playing tennis, swimming, biking, coaching basketball, softball, soccer (anything her girls play) and watching college basketball, football and NFL! Go Pack, Go Pirates, Go Duke, Go Seahawks, Go Braves, needless to say she’s a big fan of sports and games! She is excited to teach/ coach your children this year in homeschool P.E. and ultimately lead them closer to Christ through sports!
